Flash Sale Railway Tickets Today! Prices Starting from Rp150,000

Good news for those planning to travel by rail during Ramadan. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Regional Operations (Daop) 8 Surabaya is introducing a special promotion through the Ramadan Festive programme, including a flash sale on train tickets starting from Rp150,000, which runs only today, Monday (9 March 2026).

This programme presents an opportunity for the public to obtain train tickets at more affordable prices whilst planning their travel in advance during Ramadan.

“This programme is a moment for the public to plan their travel earlier with more affordable fares,” said Mahendro.

As part of this programme, KAI is offering a flash sale with special prices accessible through the Access by KAI application.

The flash sale runs for only one hour, from 16:30–17:30 WIB on 9 March 2026.

In addition to the flash sale, KAI is providing ticket discounts of up to 30 per cent for purchases made on 9 March 2026. This discount applies for travel with departure periods from 9–20 March 2026, whilst promotional ticket quotas remain available.

Customers can purchase promotional tickets through all official KAI sales channels.

“This discount applies whilst the allocation of promotional tickets remains available,” said Mahendro.

The promotional fares apply for train travel on 9–20 March 2026. For KAI Wisata’s priority rail services, the promotion applies for departures from 11–20 March 2026.

However, the promotion does not apply to Luxury and Compartment train services and cannot be combined with other reduction or discount programmes.

KAI also ensures that tickets purchased at promotional fares can still be cancelled or rescheduled in accordance with applicable terms and conditions.
