Flash Sale and Mudik Discount from PT KAI, Executive Train Ticket Price Cut to Rp300,000
JAKARTA — On 9 March 2026, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) launched a flash sale for train ticket purchases between 4:30-5:30 PM WIB for customers.
This annual flash sale by Indonesian Railways offers a brief window to reduce holiday travel costs during the 2026 Lebaran period.
PT KAI has named the programme Ramadan Festive, featuring three main initiatives: Ngobrol Asik (casual discussions), Flash Sale, and Mudik Promotions.
Prospective participants should note that the flash sale applies exclusively to the Access by KAI mobile application, where ticket purchases are conducted online.
The flash sale offers the following fares:
— Panoramic Train: Rp600,000
— Executive Train: Rp300,000
— Economy Train: Rp150,000

— Flash sale fares for trains managed by KAI Wisata (Priority, Imperial, and Panoramic) apply for departures from 11–20 March 2026
— The promotion uses flat rates
— Flash sale fares do not apply to Luxury and Compartment trains
— Flash sale fares do not apply to special rates and cannot be combined with other reductions and/or discounts
— Tickets purchased at flash sale rates may be cancelled and rescheduled according to applicable regulations
— Train schedules and lists can be viewed through the Access by KAI app
— The promotion remains available whilst ticket allocations are available
30% Discount on Train Tickets:
— This promotion can be booked from 9 March 2026 at 12:00 AM WIB onwards
— Train departure period: 9–20 March 2026
— Unlike the flash sale, the 30% discount can be booked through the Access by KAI app, the official website, and station ticket counters
— Discounted ticket purchases may be made through all sales channels on 9 March 2026
— Discount fares apply for departures from 9–20 March 2026
— Discount fares do not apply to Luxury, Compartment, and Tourist trains
— Discount fares do not apply to special rates and cannot be combined with other discounts
