Flash flood hits Arosuka Solok, submerging vehicles and severing national road access
Flash floods have struck Arosuka, Solok Regency, West Sumatra, submerging vehicles and severing access to the national road.
On Tuesday (22/09/2026), residents were seen inspecting the condition of vehicles submerged in debris following the flash flood. The flood, which hit the office district in the centre of the regency on Monday night (21/09), also severed national road access and resulted in several people being reported missing.
Personnel from the West Sumatra Regional Police Brimob unit are currently conducting search operations for the flood victims in Arosuka, Solok Regency. The disaster has left residents navigating through heavy flood debris as authorities attempt to locate the missing individuals.
