Flags and stickers for PPP

JAKARTA (JP): The United Development Party (PPP) members at the House of Representatives have received 2,000 party flags and 27,000 stickers from the residents of Kebon Kacang, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The head of the RT 010/03 neighborhood community of Kebon Kacang, Budi Santoso, gave the flags and stickers to the PPP leader in the House, Hamzah Haz, yesterday. Budi Santoso said the gift was the residents' appreciation of the members' help in settling land clearance problems in the area.

Budi said the PPP House members Bachtiar Chamsyah and Muhammad Mansyur had helped the residents get compensation for their property taken by a developer, Antara reported. (sur)
