FKPPI Ready to Maintain Jakarta's Stability to Become a Global City

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Family of the Forum for Communication of Sons and Daughters of Retired Military and Police (FKPPI) in DKI Jakarta is ready to synergise, guide, and monitor all activities in Jakarta to maintain the capital’s stability in becoming a global city.

“Instructions have been given to maintain security stability,” said the Chairman of the Regional Board (PD) IX of FKPPI DKI Jakarta, Bambang Dirgantoro, in Jakarta on Monday.

According to him, they are not merely present as a symbol but play a real role from the local to the national level. In supporting Jakarta towards becoming a global city, FKPPI focuses on guiding social programmes and infrastructure, as well as strengthening youth-based security control.

Bambang stated that his side will guide and monitor all activities in Jakarta to maintain stability and investment value.

Through the “Jaga Jakarta” programme, the organisation has coordinated nine branches in DKI to implement the Jaga Komplek and Jaga Wilayah programmes.

“Currently, the issue of radicalism has shifted from physical forms to digital content-based radicalism that is extremist in nature,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Treasurer of FKPPI DKI Jakarta, Yuke Yurike, emphasised her organisation’s readiness to actively participate in various programmes of the Jakarta Provincial Government.

She added that the synergy between FKPPI and the Jakarta Provincial Government, including in the Jaga Jakarta programme, is highly feasible due to the widespread network of members. The forum, continued Yuke, is also ready to guide Jakarta towards becoming a global city.

“We are ready to participate in supporting all programmes, including anti-drug socialisation, violence prevention, and brawls. We are fully ready to support Jakarta towards becoming a global city,” she said during the Halal Bihalal Idul Fitri 1447 H event themed “Halal Bihalal: Let Us Enhance Synergy for Jakarta Towards a Global City” at GOR Pasar Minggu.
