FKPM and BKPM of Pasar Lama District Win First Prize in South Sumatra Regional Police Competition
LAHAT — The Community Policing Unit of Lahat Police District attended the award ceremony for the Forum for Police and Community Partnership (FKPM) and Community Safety Officials of Districts and Villages (BKPM) competition at the South Sumatra Regional Police level. The event took place on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 at approximately 09:00 Western Indonesia Time.
Lahat Police Chief AKBP Novi Edyanto SIK MIK was represented by Head of Community Policing AKP Heri Jon Pajri SH, accompanied by Public Order Officer Aipda Dafik Oktavianto SH MM and members of the Forum for Police and Community Partnership.
The award certificates were presented directly by the Head of Community Policing at South Sumatra Regional Police to the FKPM and BKPM of Pasar Lama District, Lahat District, Lahat Regency.
The award was presented as recognition of the active role of FKPM and BKPM in assisting police duties, particularly in maintaining public safety and order in their respective communities.
Head of Community Policing AKP Heri Jon Pajri stated that this success demonstrates the strength of the partnership between police and community.
According to him, FKPM and BKPM play an important role in creating a safe and conducive security environment. Through good communication and coordination, various potential security threats can be prevented early.
“We appreciate the hard work of the FKPM and BKPM of Pasar Lama District. This achievement demonstrates excellent synergy between the community and police,” he said.
He hopes this success will serve as motivation for FKPM and BKPM in other areas, enabling them to continue improving performance in supporting police duties within the community.
Furthermore, the event also provided an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between the Indonesian National Police and community. Such collaboration is essential for maintaining security stability in Lahat Police District’s jurisdiction.
