Police have reported that five people became victims of a random stabbing spree carried out by a man with the initials KM in the Tangerang City area. All five victims are currently in the process of recovery. “Currently, there are five recorded victims, all of whom sustained injuries, and four are in the process of healing,” said Jatiuwung Police Chief Commissioner Kresna Ajie Perkasa when contacted on Sunday (12/7/2026). Commissioner Kresna stated that one victim is still being treated in the ICU. The victim was stabbed by the perpetrator on Jalan Mataram, Bencongan, Kelapa Dua. “One person is still in the ICU. Commissioner Kresna explained that the motive is not yet known. Police are still waiting for the results of the medical observation. “We cannot provide an answer regarding the motive yet. We are still waiting for the doctor’s results to find out the perpetrator’s actual condition,” he stated.
