Five TNI Work Units Achieve WBK Status
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Five TNI Work Units have achieved the Corruption-Free Region (WBK) status due to their transparent and clean working systems and administrations. The five institutions receiving the WBK status from the Ministry of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) are the TNI Headquarters Information Centre (Puspen), the TNI Law Development and Human Rights Agency (Babinkum and HAM), the TNI Information and Data Processing Centre (Pusinfolahta), the TNI Mental Development Centre (Pusbintal), and the TNI Electronics Communication Unit (Satkomlek). In an official press release received by ANTARA in Jakarta on Friday, it was explained that the five work units received award certificates from TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto and were presented at the TNI Bureaucratic Reform Coordination Meeting for 2026 in the Gatot Subroto Hall, TNI Headquarters Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Thursday (9/4). One way to implement transparency within work units is by adopting a digitalisation system in carrying out administrative tasks. “The implementation of digital government is carried out to support the main duties of the TNI in realising open, innovative, and accountable government governance,” said Candra in the press release. Not only adopting a digitalisation system, Candra assessed that each work unit also needs to improve the quality of human resources (HR) to avoid being trapped in corrupt practices. “Strengthening commitment from leaders as decision-makers and increasing technical knowledge of bureaucratic reform personnel in the TNI is required,” he explained. With this award, Candra hopes that all work units will be motivated to create effective, transparent working systems free from corrupt practices.
