Officers from the Narcotics Unit of Dompu Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), conducted a raid on a group of youths holding an ecstasy party in a rented room in Salama neighbourhood, Bada ward, Dompu sub-district, in the early hours of the morning.

Five people were arrested during the raid. Three were women and two were men. They were apprehended whilst together in the rented room.

“Five people were arrested in the dawn raid operation. They have been secured at Dompu Police Station,” said Iptu I Nyoman Suardika, public relations officer at Dompu Police, in a statement on Wednesday (18 March 2026).

Suardika named the five individuals arrested as three students with initials UA (22), MA (28), and MBD (22). The other two, EN (30) and DR (29), were housewives.

From the five individuals, Suardika continued, officers discovered six ecstasy pills that were allegedly leftover from their party. “There were five ecstasy pills stored inside a cigarette box, and then there was half a pill scattered around,” he explained.

Suardika stated that the raid was conducted after police received a report from the public regarding suspicious activity by the room’s owner and frequent loud music from the premises.

Police then conducted surveillance and found the five individuals entering the rented room at intervals. When raided, they were sitting together whilst listening to music at high volume.

“When raided, they were enjoying listening to music. They were immediately brought to Dompu Police Station for further processing,” Suardika said.
