Five Sample Hari Santri National Day Ceremony Programmes for 2026, with Prayers
As in previous years, one of the ‘compulsory’ events for Hari Santri National Day 2026 is a ceremony. This year, the ceremony will be held on Thursday, 22 October.
The central ceremony is planned to begin at 7 am Western Indonesian Time (WIB), as stated in Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Circular Letter No. 6 of 2026 on Guidelines for Commemorating Hari Santri 2026. Schools and pesantren usually follow similar arrangements.
To ensure the ceremony runs smoothly, the master of ceremonies and ceremony leader for Hari Santri National Day 2026 should prepare well in advance. One point to consider is the programme.
Here are several examples compiled by detikJogja for reference. The programmes below can, of course, be adapted to suit individual needs.

O Lord of all creation,
Allow us, the santri of Indonesia and those who love the santri, to gather here in prayer, seeking Your blessings and favour. Guide and direct us as You guided and directed the righteous who came before us.
O Allah, Master of Light,
Illuminate every part of our hearts with Your divine light, so that every breath, movement, word, intention and thought is directed towards worshipping You. Make all our activities a source of righteous and social deeds, leading us towards goodness and a virtuous life.
O Allah, the Almighty,
Grant us physical and spiritual health, strength and protection, so that we may fulfil our social responsibilities and our responsibilities as santri. Guide us always to be among the best of people, those who are most beneficial to others, and make us exemplary santri who spread benefit and serve the common good of the people, society, nation and state.
O Allah, the Most Perfect,
Bestow Your blessings and bounty upon this society and nation, granting them well-being and prosperity. Unite us and strengthen us in building this country, and keep us steadfast within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, so that we may shape a better and more beautiful future beneath the light of Your guidance.
