Five RI students awarded scholarship

INDONESIA: Five Indonesian students were awarded on Monday the
prestigious Singapore Scholarship for the year 2002 to pursue
undergraduate course in the city state.

The five successful candidates will pursue their study at the
National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological
University.

The awards were presented by Singapore's Ambassador to
Indonesia Edward Lee who, stressing that there was no bond
imposed on the scholarship recipients, said that he expected
the scholarship holders would return to their respective country
after graduation.--JP
