Five Prayers for a Smooth Flow of Sustenance and Ease in All Matters

The call for the cancellation of outstanding dues should be realised first while considering the economic conditions.

A prayer for a smooth flow of sustenance is a prayer offered to Allah SWT to ask for abundance, ease, blessings, and sufficiency in obtaining halal (lawful) sustenance.

In Islam, it is recommended to pray for a smooth flow of sustenance and ease of affairs through prayer and effort.

Allahumma inni as’aluka rizqan thayyiban, wa ’ilman naafi’an, wa ’amalan mutaqabbalan.

Meaning

O Allah, I ask You for good sustenance, useful knowledge, and deeds that You accept.

Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja‘altahu sahlan, wa anta taj‘alul hazna idza syi’ta sahlan.

Meaning

O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You can make difficulties easy if You will.

Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqir.

Meaning

O my Lord, indeed I am in need of the good that You send down to me.

Allahummakfini bihalalika ’an haramika, wa aghnini bifadhlika ’amman siwak.

Meaning

O Allah, suffice me with what is halal from You so that I am spared from what is haram, and enrich me with Your grace from other than You.

Meaning

O Allah, bless us in what You have provided for us.

To ensure a smooth flow of sustenance, in addition to praying, it is recommended to be diligent in giving charity, maintaining good relations, working honestly and diligently, and increasing in seeking forgiveness. (Z-4)
