Five nabbed for selling alcohol

BEKASI: Bekasi Police have detained five men on suspicion of
illegally selling alcohol and seized 200 bottles of alcohol in
raids over the past week.

Bekasi Police chief Sr. Comr. Bachtiar Hasanudin Tambunan
identified the suspects on Friday as Yanuardi, 31; Imam Wijaya,
23; Marihot, 56, Dasrizal, 27; and Asrial, 30. They were arrested
in two separate districts between Tuesday and Friday.

Tambunan said the suspects were being investigated.

To help curb the distribution of alcohol, Tambunan called on
residents of Bekasi to report to the nearest police station if
they know of any stalls selling alcohol illegally. -- Antara
