Five Mobile Driver's Licence Service Locations in Jakarta for Wednesday

The Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya) continues to provide mobile driver’s licence (SIM) services across five areas in Jakarta to assist residents with renewing their legal driving permits this Wednesday.

Via the @tmcpoldametro Instagram account, Polda Metro Jaya announced that these mobile service booths will be open from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. The locations are as follows:

East Jakarta: Pasar Bersih Cengkareng

North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok

South Jakarta: Parking area beside Trilogi University

West Jakarta: Front lobby of Ciputra Mall

Central Jakarta: Parking area of the Lapangan Banteng Post Office

Applicants must prepare and complete all necessary requirements, as well as administrative fees, before visiting the renewal locations. Required documents include a photocopy of a valid National ID (KTP), the original and valid driver’s licence, proof of a health examination, and proof of a psychological test conducted via the Simpel Pol application.

This mobile service is only available for renewing specific licence categories, namely SIM A and SIM C. For licences that have expired, even by a single day, owners must apply for a new licence at locations designated by the police.

In accordance with Government Regulation Number 76 of 2020 regarding the Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, the renewal fee is Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C. In addition to these fees, applicants are also required to pay for additional costs, including the psychological test and health examination fees via the Simpel Pol application.
