BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Reuters): A Japanese, a Malaysian and an
Indonesian were among five people killed in Brunei on Monday when
the bus they were traveling on collided with a car, a government
official said.
Officials said the bus, carrying delegates to a regional youth
program in Brunei's capital, collided with a car and landed on
its side, killing Akiko Shinohara, a 25-year-old Tokyo-based
lawyer, Malaysian Jamdin Haji Ramli, 27, Indonesian Kamaluddin
Said, 24, and two Brunei nationals.
"We'll send the remains of the victims to their respective
countries," the official said.
