BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Reuters): A Japanese, a Malaysian and an Indonesian were among five people killed in Brunei on Monday when the bus they were traveling on collided with a car, a government official said.
Officials said the bus, carrying delegates to a regional youth program in Brunei's capital, collided with a car and landed on its side, killing Akiko Shinohara, a 25-year-old Tokyo-based lawyer, Malaysian Jamdin Haji Ramli, 27, Indonesian Kamaluddin Said, 24, and two Brunei nationals.
"We'll send the remains of the victims to their respective countries," the official said.
