The government's plan for a five-day school week needs to be
reconsidered. Ours is a tropical country where one gets tired
easily at work and in school. Hence will the school children be
able to absorb all their lessons from morning and now, until the
evening?

Moreover, how many children who still live in poverty will
have to endure more time living and studying in cramped, small
houses with their families?

I am not an educated man but I really do not understand the
purpose of the plan nor can I grasp the explanation given by
educators and intellectuals. However, I learned from the
newspapers that it has already been implemented in certain
regions.

I think we should test the plan beforehand as they do in
advanced countries.
