Fitrah Zakat Amounts for 2026 in West Java: Cash and Rice

The National Zakat Board (BAZNAS) of West Java Province has established the standard amount of fitrah zakat for the Islamic year 1447 Hijriah/2026 CE. This determination is outlined in Circular Letter BAZNAS West Java Province Number 085/BAZNAS-JABAR/III/2026, which serves as guidance for all Muslims in the Pasundan region.

Fitrah zakat is an obligation for every financially capable Muslim as a means of purifying oneself from shortcomings during fasting and as an expression of social concern. In West Java, the cash value of fitrah zakat is adjusted according to the price of standard quality rice in the local market of each respective district.
