JAKARTA (JP): The city administration has ordered amusement
and fitness centers yesterday to reduce their activities from May
9 until May 11 in honor of the Islamic Day of Sacrifice (Idul

from opening on May 10 itself.

The amusement centers in question include massage parlors,
night clubs, discotheques, karaoke centers and billiard halls.

The ban is effective from 5 p.m. on May 9, the whole of May 10
and from 10 p.m. on May 11.

Entertainment activities at star-rated hotels are not included
in the ban. (hhr)
