First Working Day After Eid Holiday, Majalengka Regent Inspects Public Service Offices
All government agencies in Majalengka Regency resumed their services after the long Eid al-Fitr holiday on Wednesday (24/3/2026). To mark the first day back at work, Majalengka Regent Eman Suherman carried out a surprise inspection (sidak) at several public service offices. The inspection targeted several strategic agencies that directly interact with the public, including the Public Service Mall (MPP), the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil), the Majalengka Regional Secretariat, and the Majalengka General Hospital. Eman emphasised that the quality of services to the public must be the top priority, especially after the long holiday. “Public services are very important. Services must not slacken after the holiday. We want to ensure that the public continues to receive services that are fast, accurate, and professional,” he stated. He also reminded all civil servants (ASN) to maintain work discipline, enhance their service ethos, and provide comfort to the public visiting the service offices. Meanwhile, on the same occasion, the Head of the Human Resources and Civil Service Personnel Agency of Majalengka Regency, Ikin Asikin, said that the sidak activity aimed to monitor the attendance and discipline levels of employees on the first working day. “We want to ensure that all ASN return to work optimally, both in terms of attendance and performance in providing public services,” he said. He affirmed that his agency would continue to conduct evaluations and guidance for ASN to improve the quality of services within the Majalengka Regency Government.
