First Wave of Repatriation: 22 Indonesian Citizens Arrive from Iran

Indonesian citizens evacuated from Iran arrived at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs facilitated the return of 22 Indonesian citizens from Iran to the country, marking the first wave of a repatriation process amid escalating security tensions in the nation.

Foreign Minister Sugiono was present to oversee the arrival and reception of the evacuees, providing a statement regarding the evacuation of Indonesian citizens from Iran at the airport terminal.
