The first wave of Hajj pilgrims from the Lombok Hajj Embarkation point returning from Saudi Arabia is scheduled to arrive in Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) on Monday, 1 June 2026. Lalu Muhamad Amin, Head of the NTB Regional Office of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj), stated that according to the scheduled timeline, NTB Hajj pilgrims will arrive at Lombok Airport at 8:15 PM WITA on Monday, 1 June 2026. “The team has prepared the arrival process for NTB Hajj pilgrims,” he said on Friday, 29 May 2026. He said 81 personnel have been deployed at critical points at Lombok Airport to handle the pilgrims’ arrival. The personnel are positioned to manage family pick-up procedures, pilgrim accommodation, and inter-government handover processes. “Role assignments and task points have been agreed upon by all Hajj Execution Committee (PPIH) members to avoid role overlap. The final deployment of personnel ensures smooth handling during arrival and handover to district authorities,” said Lalu Amin. According to Amin, the pick-up, accommodation, and handover process for Hajj pilgrims is divided into three main phases: family pick-up, pilgrim accommodation, and handover from the provincial government to district/city authorities for delivery to families. “Each phase has been designed to proceed smoothly, orderly, and without disruption through coordinated efforts among stakeholders. Special attention has been given to critical points to prevent traffic congestion or confusion during pilgrim transfers,” he added.
