First Tarawih Prayer in Banda Aceh: Ulama Abi Lamkawe Calls on Faithful to Begin Ramadan with Repentance

Charismatic Acehnese ulama Tgk Ishak Malem, also known as Abi Lamkawe, called on the community to begin Ramadan 1447 Hijriyah by increasing acts of repentance to Allah SWT.

“Let us begin this Ramadan by multiplying our worship through repentance to Allah SWT,” he said during the first Tarawih prayer in Banda Aceh.
