First Quarter Investment Reaches Rp465.2 Trillion, 24.4 Per Cent of Annual Target
Minister of Investment and Downstream Industries/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani stated that the figure represented 24.4 per cent of the Rp1,905.6 trillion target set for the year.
"Thank God, first quarter investment is in line with the target set by Bappenas for us. Of the total 2025 investment target of Rp1,905.6 trillion, investment that has been received, realised and disbursed in the first quarter stands at Rp465.2 trillion, or approximately 24.4 per cent," Rosan said at a press conference at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, 23 April 2025.
Rosan detailed that investment realisation during the period comprised foreign direct investment (PMA) of Rp230.4 trillion, accounting for 49.5 per cent of the total, and domestic investment (PMDN) of Rp234.8 trillion, or 50.5 per cent.
The BKPM chief said that realisation in the first three months of the year rose approximately 15.9 per cent year-on-year compared with the same period last year, which stood at Rp401.5 trillion. On a quarterly basis, it increased 2.7 per cent, with the previous quarter's realisation reaching Rp452.8 trillion.
