First Quarter: HK's Net Profit Exceeds Target, Reaching Rp 464 Billion
PT Hutama Karya (Persero) recorded a consolidated net profit of Rp 464 billion in the first quarter of 2026, exceeding the Corporate Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) target of Rp 269 billion.
This achievement was driven by disciplined cost control and strengthening of the toll road operations segment amid global market dynamics.
Profit contributions came from two main segments: toll road operations with Earnings After Tax (EAT) of Rp 333 billion, and the subsidiary PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI), which contributed Rp 167 billion.
This performance marks an increase compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 448 billion.
From a financial perspective, Hutama Karya’s total consolidated assets stood at Rp 189.84 trillion.
Revenue for the first quarter of 2026 was recorded at Rp 4.67 trillion, or 82.11 percent of the RKAP target.
The company continues to prioritise selectivity in acquiring new contracts, focusing on strategically valuable projects.
In the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) construction sector, physical progress continues, with the total length of toll roads built reaching 1,108 kilometres by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
An addition of 10.1 kilometres of sections occurred during this period, with several still in active construction phases, such as Betung–Jambi, Rengat–Pekanbaru, and Palembang–Betung.
Hutama Karya President Director Koentjoro stated that this achievement demonstrates the company’s business resilience amid global economic pressures, including commodity price volatility, exchange rate dynamics, and potential global growth slowdown.
“In the midst of global uncertainty, we have instead proven that infrastructure managed with financial discipline is a resilient investment,” he said on Saturday (25/4/2026).
To maintain performance throughout 2026, the board has set four strategic pillars: strengthening cost control discipline, optimising energy utilisation, measured business decision-making, and enhancing human resource competencies.
Hutama Karya reaffirms its commitment to maintaining and improving business performance and corporate governance to deliver reliable and beneficial infrastructure for society.
