First Quarter 2025 Investment Realisation Reaches Rp465.2 Trillion, Up 15.9 Per Cent Year-on-Year
President Prabowo Subianto received a report on first quarter 2025 investment realisation figures from Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani.
In a press statement following the meeting, Rosan revealed that investment realisation in the first quarter of 2025 reached Rp465.2 trillion, or 24.4 per cent of this year's total investment target of Rp1,905.6 trillion.
"Investment in the first quarter met the target set by Bappenas for us. Compared with the previous year, there was a year-on-year increase of 15.9 per cent. Last year's figure was Rp401.5 trillion, so this is a very encouraging number," Rosan said after the meeting at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday (23/04/2025).
Rosan affirmed that the achievement demonstrated strong investor confidence, both domestic and foreign, in Indonesia's stability and investment climate under President Prabowo's leadership.
Beyond the investment figures, Rosan also highlighted the positive impact on employment, noting that investment during the first quarter absorbed 594,104 workers.
