Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) Kemayoran Harapan Mulia 1 in Central Jakarta served 3,298 portions of Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) today, Tuesday, following Eid al-Fitr 2026.

The head of SPPG Kemayoran Harapan Mulia 1, Fakhri Irfan Pribadi, stated that the unit under his leadership has reduced the number of beneficiaries from the previous around 3,600 recipients because many other SPPG units in the Kemayoran area are also serving MBG beneficiaries.

“As for preparations for MBG resuming operations after Eid or after the month of Ramadan, of course, our volunteer friends are certainly happy because they are starting work again. Then, for the preparations, we are certainly the same as before, of course with an evaluation first before we resume operations,” said Fakhri in Jakarta.

He explained that SPPG Kemayoran Harapan Mulia 1 serves seven schools, while for the posyandu, there is one serving beneficiaries of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers (B3).

“The distribution times vary because we have three shifts: the first shift at 07:00 for primary and secondary schools at 05:30, then for high schools/vocational schools from 11:00 to 12:00. For the posyandu, since there is only one, it is at 09:00,” he said.

Fakhri emphasised that the most important evaluation conducted by the SPPG concerns food quality, menus, and personal hygiene of the volunteers.

“Then food security, the volunteers’ human resource capabilities regarding food security, nutrition education, we also continuously evaluate waste processing, and most importantly, evaluations on environmental cleanliness and sanitation,” he stated.
