First Anniversary: Danantara Distributes 2,000 School Supply Packages
Danantara Indonesia marked one year of its institutional journey through a joint reflection activity held at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta on Tuesday (11 March 2026). The event was attended by President Prabowo Subianto, Cabinet Ministers, and Danantara leadership and staff.
In his remarks, Prabowo called upon all Danantara Indonesia personnel to uphold integrity, disciplined governance, and long-term orientation in managing state assets to strengthen the foundation of national economic development.
Prabowo emphasised that Danantara Indonesia was established to ensure state asset management is conducted professionally and oriented towards the nation’s long-term interests, thereby delivering genuine added value to national development and public welfare.
“We are grateful that Indonesia now has a state investment management institution that can be compared with sovereign wealth funds at the global level. In this first year, it is evident that with good management, disciplined governance, and strong commitment, the performance of state asset management has increased significantly. However, this achievement is merely the beginning. Going forward, we must continue to strengthen governance and improve performance so that state asset management truly provides maximum benefit to the Indonesian people,” said Prabowo on Tuesday (13 March 2026).
The first-year commemoration carried the theme “One Danantara”, reflecting the spirit of all state-owned enterprises moving in unison to strengthen the foundation of the national economy and create broader impact for future generations.
Danantara Indonesia CEO Rosan Roeslani stated that Danantara’s first year focused on building strong institutional foundations and governance, whilst ensuring that state investment management remained grounded in creating long-term benefits for society.
“State asset management must ultimately deliver real impact for the nation’s future. Therefore, commitment to the development of future generations is also an important part of Danantara Indonesia’s journey,” Roeslani explained.
Roeslani elaborated that this commitment is reflected not only in strengthening governance and state asset management structures, but also in various initiatives affirming that development results must provide real benefits to society, including for Indonesia’s young generation.
“As a symbol of commitment to the future of Indonesia’s children, a symbolic handover of 88,000 school supply packages for children throughout Indonesia is being conducted. This programme is implemented simultaneously by state-owned enterprises in various regions as a form of support for educational access and preparation of Indonesia’s Golden Generation,” Roeslani stated.
Roeslani revealed that PT TASPEN (Persero) participated in the school supply package distribution programme implemented by state-owned enterprises simultaneously in various regions. For instance, in Bengkulu Province, TASPEN delivered 2,000 school packages to students across seven primary and junior secondary schools.
The schools receiving packages were SDN 47 Kota Bengkulu, SDN 76 Kota Bengkulu, SDN 102 Kota Bengkulu, SDN 105 Kota Bengkulu, SMPN 16 Kota Bengkulu, SMPN 23 Kota Bengkulu, and SMPN 25 Kota Bengkulu.
“This first year is a phase of building foundations. Going forward, our focus is ensuring these foundations are translated into real performance, through strong governance, professional state asset management, and strategic investment that benefits the national economy and Indonesia’s future generations,” Roeslani concluded.
