Fireworks seen from the 18th deck of the Disney Adventure cruise ship
Singapore (ANTARA) – The Disney Adventure cruise ship, which is undertaking its inaugural voyage from Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore, delivered an unforgettable experience for guests by staging a fireworks display on deck 18. In on-site observations by ANTARA on Friday, the fireworks began lighting the sky above the Disney ship at 10:30 pm local time. All guests present gathered in the deck 18 area, bringing along family members and forming neat queues along the edge of the deck. Some visitors chose to enjoy the glittering night sky from the poolside or stairs. Another area favoured by guests was the concourse, filled with colourful seating. They appeared to enjoy beverages ranging from sodas and tea to coffee, while savouring hot pizzas offered free of charge. The fireworks were continuously launched into the air, producing colours that entertained guests. Many children shouted the colours of the fireworks, from red, orange, yellow, purple, pink to blue. Everyone on deck 18 could be heard cheering loudly at times while focusing on capturing the unforgettable moment with their mobile phones or small cameras. The display lasted about 15 minutes. Many guests described the experience as ‘amazing’ or ‘delightful’ to those nearby. The Disney Adventure began its inaugural voyage on 10 March 2026 from a port in Singapore. The ship is the eighth for Disney Cruise Line and the largest to date. Disney Adventure is part of the multi-year expansion of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, which currently comprises eight ships, with five additional ships planned to join by 2031. Drawing on more than a century of storytelling from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel, Disney Adventure is filled with epic experiences and iconic characters ready to be explored. The ship features seven immersive themed areas that take guests into iconic worlds and stories, including San Fransokyo Street from the Disney film “Big Hero 6.” Aboard the ship, guests can enjoy the latest Broadway-style musical titled ‘Remember’; immersive dining experiences; a signature sea-fireworks display; a children’s club creatively designed for all ages; a collection of bars and lounges for adults; and thrilling attractions, including the Disney Cruise Line’s first sea-based roller coaster, the Ironcycle Test Run.
