Firecracker trafficking foiled

CIREBON, West Java: Cirebon police foiled the trafficking of
150 packets of firecrackers from Indramayu to the provincial
capital of Bandung on Friday.

The police also seized a truck used to transport the banned
explosive substances and its owner Sodikin.

Adj. Sr. Comr. Ricardo Hutauruk, chief of the Cirebon Police
Precinct, said that according to the police investigation, the
firecrackers were destined for Bandung.

"We will continue to process the case in accordance with the
law to give a lesson to local traders and people," he said.
