MANADO, North Sulawesi: Three motor boats caught fire when
docking at the North Sulawesi capital of Manado, port officials
said here on Monday. No human casualties were reported in the
fire.

Robby Silangen, a Manado Port official, said the fire, which
occurred on Sunday evening, caused more than Rp 4 billion in
losses.

Two vessels KM Santa Maria and KM Mina Sejahtera were
destroyed in the fire, while the other boat KM Velentine suffered
only minor damages before it was saved from the fire.

It was not clear what the cause of the fire was as local
