Fire razes stores, warehouse

BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: Sixteen stores and a warehouse were razed to the ground in a blaze in the Pringsewu market in Lampung Selatan on Sunday, Antara reported yesterday.

There were no reports of any casualties.

The warehouse contained paints and other inflammable construction materials.

The fire was believed to have been caused by a short circuit in one of the shops, witnesses said. (emb)
