Fire razes 20 houses

BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: At least 20 houses were razed
by fire in the Pelambuan district on Thursday morning.

The is the second major fire in the city in the last two
weeks, following one that gutted a market in Banjar Barat
district, Antara reported yesterday.

The fire was believed to have originated from a plywood
factory. It was extinguished within two hours.

There were no reported casualties. (rms)
