Fire Incident at Cimuning LPG Bulk Filling Station in Bekasi, Pertamina's Statement
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Bulk LPG Filling Station (SPBE) in Cimuning, Mustika Jaya, Bekasi, experienced a fire incident on Wednesday evening (1/4/2026).
This SPBE is owned and operated by the private entity PT Indogas Andalan Kita, which is one of the partners of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Regarding this incident, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has issued a statement. Susanto August Satria, Area Manager for Communications, Relations & CSR at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Barat, confirmed the occurrence of the incident.
The company has apologised for what happened.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Barat (RJBB) apologises for the incident at the Bulk LPG Filling Station (SPBE) of PT Indogas Andalan Kita on Wednesday, 1 April 2026,” he stated on Wednesday (1/4/2026).
He said that Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional RJBB and the SPBE team immediately acted swiftly and coordinated with the local Fire Department team.
“The cause of the incident will be investigated promptly together with the relevant authorities,” he added.
“At present, we are focusing on handling the fire, the safety of the surrounding community, and the SPBE workers,” he continued.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga RJBB assures that LPG supplies to the public are not disrupted,” he emphasised.
He also advised the public to pay attention to their own safety and not to approach the incident location.
