Fire hits Bali hotel
DENPASAR, Bali: Fire hit the Dhyana Pura hotel in the Kuta beach resort on Friday, damaging 21 of its 86 rooms. There were no casualties.
The fire started in one of the cottages, quickly spreading to five others nearby, the Antara news agency reported eyewitnesses as saying. The fire brigade put the blaze out within two hours.
The hotel is owned by Dhyana Pura Foundation, a subsidiary of the Indonesian Protestant Council.
The hotel, equipped with swimming pool and convention room, is insured, foundation spokesman Wayan Mastra said. (prs)
