Fire Engulfs Agribusiness Office in Cengkareng, West Jakarta

A fire engulfed an agribusiness company office on Jalan Pedongkelan Raya, Cengkareng Timur, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Monday morning. Head of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), Syaiful Kahfi, stated that the fire was reported at 4.50 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. “Upon receiving the report, officers immediately went to the location and began firefighting operations,” said Syaiful. Initially, three fire engines with 15 personnel were deployed. After battling the blaze for several hours, the fire was successfully extinguished, with a total of 10 fire engines and 50 personnel deployed. Syaiful confirmed there were no injuries or fatalities in the incident. “The cause of the fire is still under investigation,” he added.
