Fire destroys 150 houses

PALEMBANG, South Sumatra: An early morning fire razed 150
houses in Mendahara Ilir village on Tuesday.

There were no casualties in the biggest fire to hit the city
this year, Antara reported.

A police spokesman said the fire was put out about two hours
after it started. Police are still investigating the cause of the
fire. (par)
