Fire Breaks Out at Pullman Hotel in West Jakarta

A hotel in the Tanjung Duren area, West Jakarta, has been struck by a fire. Firefighters are currently working to extinguish the flames. “The object on fire is the Pullman Hotel,” stated Achmad Saiful Kahfi, Head of Operations for the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service, on Saturday (1/8/2026). The fire was reported to firefighters at 07:59 WIB. The hotel is located on Jalan Letjen S Parman, South Tanjung Duren, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. The firefighting operation commenced at 08:05 WIB. Firefighters have managed to control the flames to prevent them from spreading to other objects. A total of 14 fire engines and 70 personnel were deployed to the location. The cause and chronology of the fire remain unknown. “Fire situation: cooling process in progress,” he added. In videos circulating on social media, flames can be seen burning on the exterior of the building, appearing quite large.
