Fire breaks out at Kemayoran car market, 22 fire engines deployed to extinguish flames

Owners of workshops and car spare part shops were seen surveying their burning kiosks at the Kemayoran Car Market, Jakarta, on Monday (21/09/2026). The fire, which was caused by an electrical short circuit, razed three kiosks, and the flames were successfully extinguished after the fire department deployed 22 fire engines.

Following the incident, workshop and spare part shop owners were seen sorting through items to be secured after the fire struck the stalls at the Kemayoran Car Market, Jakarta, on Monday (21/09/2026).
