Fire Breaks Out at Ice Cream Warehouse in Tangerang

A major fire engulfed an ice cream production warehouse on Jalan Industri Raya, Jatiuwung, Tangerang, on Tuesday night (20 October).

The fire is believed to have started when an electrical short circuit caused a spark at the Momoyo ice cream factory warehouse. The large quantity of flammable materials allowed the blaze to spread quickly to other buildings.

A total of 60 personnel, supported by 16 fire engines, were deployed to extinguish the fire. Firefighting operations lasted more than six hours.
