Fire at Pullman Hotel in West Jakarta, Two Witnesses Questioned
A fire occurred at the Pullman Central Park Hotel in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, on Saturday (1/8). Police are examining two witnesses in connection with the incident to determine its cause.
“For now, only two have been questioned. It may progress later,” said Grogol Petamburan Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Ali Barokah in Jakarta on Monday (3/8).
Police have not disclosed the identities of the two witnesses questioned regarding the fire at the Pullman Hotel Jakarta. A Forensic Laboratory team has been deployed to investigate the fire at the hotel on Jalan Letjen S Parman, Tanjung Duren Selatan, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. However, the cause of the fire is not yet known for certain.
“The forensics team will go down to the location,” said Grogol Petamburan Police Chief AKP Reza Aditya on Saturday (1/8). In addition, a team from the Indonesia Automatic Fingerprint Identification System of the West Jakarta Police has also been deployed to the location for an initial examination.
As previously reported, a fire struck the Pullman Hotel located on Jalan Letjen S Parman, Tanjung Duren Selatan, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, on Saturday morning. A total of 14 fire engines and 70 personnel were deployed to the location to extinguish the flames at the Pullman Hotel.
