Fire at Daan Mogot SIM Satpas Guard Post

Fire at the Daan Mogot SIM Satpas guard post, according to a statement from an officer at the Command Center of the Jakarta DKI Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat), on Thursday (21 May 2026). The fire was reported by telephone to the damkar at 22:40 WIB. The incident site is Jalan Daan Mogot RT 011 RW 006, Kelurahan Kedaung Kaliangke, Kecamatan Cengkareng, West Jakarta. A medium‑pressure pump truck from the Damkar Sector Grogol Petamburan office was dispatched to the scene for initial handling. Firefighting operations commenced at 22:52 WIB. A total of 7 fire engines and 35 personnel were deployed to the scene. The fire was brought under control at 22:55 WIB and cooling operations continued at 23:00 WIB. Firefighters proceeded to disentangle burning material by continuing to spray water on the remaining hot spots to ensure the fire was completely extinguished. The firefighting operation was declared finished at 23:18 WIB. “The situation and status of the fire, firefighting finished,” he said. The chronology and cause of the fire are not yet known.
