PT Finnet Indonesia (Finpay), a subsidiary of Telkom Group, is strengthening digital services for the public and businesses in the maritime sector by providing its Finpay Payment Gateway facility for online payment acceptance on the MaritimHub Digital Platform. To realise this service, PT Finnet Indonesia President Director Rakhmad Tunggal Afifuddin stated that his company is collaborating with the Directorate General of Sea Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation. Through the integration of the Finpay payment gateway service on the MaritimHub digital platform, the public and businesses in the maritime sector can now conduct electronic payment transactions from various available channels. “Through this collaboration with the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, we hope the implementation of the digital payment system on MaritimHub can increase operational efficiency, strengthen transaction transparency, and provide a better service experience for all maritime service users,” he said. PT Finnet Indonesia Director of Business & Marketing, Aziz Sidqi, added that this cooperation is part of the company’s commitment to strengthening the national digital payment ecosystem, particularly in the transportation and public services sector. “As a company focused on developing digital payment solutions, Finnet is committed to delivering a secure, reliable, and integrated Finpay payment gateway service,” he said. Through this cooperation, he added, the company hopes to support the realisation of maritime services that are increasingly modern, efficient, and oriented towards user needs. Meanwhile, Director General of Sea Transportation, Muhammad Masyhud, stated that the digitalisation of maritime services needs to be supported by a secure, reliable, and integrated payment system to improve service quality for users. According to him, the cooperation with PT Finnet Indonesia has a strategic meaning in supporting the implementation of digital services that are increasingly modern and oriented towards the needs of service users. “Synergy between the government and the business world is also key in encouraging public service innovation in the digital era,” he said. Previously, on Wednesday (10/6), a Cooperation Agreement signing was held between Finnet and the Directorate General of Sea Transportation to inaugurate the cooperation on payment digitalisation on the MaritimHub Platform. MaritimHub is an integrated service and data portal developed by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation to unify various maritime services on a single digital platform. With the presence of the payment gateway service from Finnet, the payment process for various services available on MaritimHub can be conducted more practically, quickly, transparently, and accountably.
