Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Finnet Indonesia (Finpay), a subsidiary of Telkom Group, is collaborating with the Ministry of Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection (KP2MI) to drive the transformation of digital services for Indonesian migrant workers (PMI).

PT Finnet Indonesia (Finpay) President Director Rakhmad Tunggal Afifuddin said the need for a secure, integrated, and easily accessible digital payment system has become increasingly urgent.

“The digitalisation of financial services for migrant workers must be built upon three key aspects: system security, ease of access, and cross-institutional integration,” he said in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday.

Through the integration of Finnet’s payment system into KP2MI’s service platform, Rakhmad said the remittance process is expected to become faster, more transparent, and carry minimal risk.

“Finnet delivers an integrated payment solution that not only simplifies remittances but also opens access to other financial services that can support better family financial planning,” he said.

“Integration with KP2MI represents a concrete contribution by the company in supporting the protection and improved welfare of migrant workers through a modern and accountable digital financial ecosystem,” he added.

Meanwhile, KP2MI Deputy Minister Dzulfikar Ahmad Tawalla said the collaboration is expected to enhance the efficiency and security of the remittance process for Indonesian migrant workers.

“This measure is also considered to be in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s vision of strengthening financial inclusion and public welfare,” he said.

He added that the collaboration between Finnet and KP2MI is not merely an administrative partnership but part of a long-term strategy to ensure that every rupiah sent by migrant workers can be received by their families quickly and safely, delivering a tangible impact on the national economy.
