Jakarta, VIVA – Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Agusman, reported that the outstanding financing of the online lending industry (pindar/pinjol) as of June 2026 grew 25.88 per cent year-on-year (yoy), reaching Rp 105.14 trillion.

Agusman, who also serves as Chief Executive for the Supervision of Financing Institutions, Venture Capital Companies, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions (PVML), said this growth was the highest compared with other financial services under his supervision.

“In the pindar industry, outstanding financing grew 25.88 per cent to a value of Rp 105.14 trillion,” said Agusman during the OJK RDKB press teleconference on Tuesday, 4 August 2026.

“The 25.88 per cent growth in outstanding financing in the pindar industry is far higher compared with other sectors under PVML supervision,” he said.

Agusman cited an example: the outstanding figure in the pindar industry is still higher in growth terms than the receivables of financing companies (multifinance), which grew only 1.88 per cent (yoy) to Rp 511.26 trillion.

“Supported by an increase in working capital (from the multifinance industry) of 6.36 per cent (yoy),” said Agusman.

Thus, although the pindar outstanding figure remains below the receivables of financing companies at Rp 511.26 trillion, the rapid pace of pindar expansion across all PVML industry lines indicates a shift in public financing preferences towards digital platforms.

Nevertheless, in the same period, Agusman assured that the over-90-day non-performing rate (TWP90) of the pindar industry remained at 4.26 per cent, with the industry’s financing quality remaining under control.

On the other hand, Agusman reported that venture capital financing in June 2026 declined 0.44 per cent (yoy), with a financing value of Rp 16.48 trillion.

Meanwhile, the pawnbroking industry also recorded significant growth, with financing disbursement rising 54.47 per cent (yoy) to Rp 162 trillion.

“With 84 per cent of that total financing recorded as disbursed through pawn products,” he said.
