The Ministry of Finance will again hold a Government Bond (SUN) auction on Tuesday, 7 July 2026. The auction offers nine series with coupon rates ranging from 5.87500 per cent to 7.12500 per cent, with a nominal value of Rp 1 million per unit. The government’s bond offering is targeted to raise Rp 32 trillion. In the previous auction on 23 June 2026, incoming bids reached Rp 46.5 trillion and the government decided to absorb Rp 30 trillion. Quoting the official website of the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management at the Ministry of Finance, the rupiah-denominated SUN auction is conducted to meet part of the financing target in the 2026 State Budget (APBN). The nine SUN series to be auctioned are SPN01260808 (New Issuance), SPN12261008 (Reopening), SPN12270708 (New Issuance), FR0109 (Reopening), FR0108 (Reopening), FR0106 (Reopening), FR0107 (Reopening), FR0102 (Reopening), and FR0105 (Reopening). The FR0109 series has the lowest coupon rate at 5.87500 per cent and will mature on 15 March 2031. Meanwhile, the series with the highest coupon rate of 7.12500 per cent are FR0106 and FR0107, which mature on 15 August 2040 and 15 August 2045 respectively. The upcoming SUN auction is targeted to raise Rp 32 trillion. However, the government has the right to sell the nine SUN series in amounts larger or smaller than the indicative target set. In the SUN auction on 23 June, investor interest slightly decreased to Rp 46.5 trillion from the previous Rp 46.6 trillion. With an initial target of Rp 36 trillion, the government decided to only award Rp 30 trillion. Furthermore, the weighted average yield awarded for the nine series in the late June auction ranged from 6.90000 per cent to 7.34948 per cent, slightly higher compared to the previous auction’s range of 6.65000 per cent to 7.42979 per cent.
