Finance Ministry Disburses 11 Trillion Rupiah in Holiday Allowances for Civil Servants and Military Personnel
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa announced that the Ministry of Finance has disbursed Rp 11 trillion in holiday allowances (Tunjangan Hari Raya, THR) for civil servants (ASN), military personnel, police officers, and pensioners as of 10 March 2026.
“As of 10 March, we have disbursed Rp 11 trillion,” Purbaya stated at the Finance Ministry headquarters in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
He emphasised that the Finance Ministry has allocated a total budget of Rp 55 trillion and can disburse funds as agencies submit payment requests. He expressed confidence that there would be no obstacles in the distribution process.
According to Purbaya, if individuals have not yet received their allowances, it is likely because their respective institutions have not yet submitted requests to the ministry.
“The funds have been disbursed. Perhaps some agencies haven’t submitted their requests yet? But if everything is in order, there should be no issues. Unless the civil servant department hasn’t requested it from us. They have to request it. So it’s not our fault; the money is already available,” Purbaya asserted.
Purbaya refuted claims that the budget was unavailable, stating: “It’s not that the money doesn’t exist. Sometimes the offices simply haven’t requested it from us. That’s all. Once they request, it’s disbursed immediately.”

Central Government Apparatus
As of 10 March 2026, the realised THR payments totalled Rp 11.160,57 billion for 2,076,377 employees, comprising:
Civil servant (PNS) holiday allowance: Rp 6.116,07 billion for 825,928 employees
Contract employee (PPPK) holiday allowance: Rp 752,82 billion for 295,054 employees
Police officer (POLRI) holiday allowance: Rp 1.837,52 billion for 461,119 personnel
Military personnel (TNI) holiday allowance: Rp 2.233,49 billion for 452,874 personnel
Non-permanent government employee (PPNPN) holiday allowance: Rp 153,42 billion for 39,486 employees
A total of 8,279 government agencies (K/L) have processed THR payments
Pensioner Allowance Payments
As of 9 March 2026, the thirteenth salary for pensioners had been distributed in the amount of Rp 11.541,4 billion to 3,618,884 pensioners (94.63%):
PT Taspen: Rp 10.099,6 billion to 3,115,324 pensioners (94.02%)
PT Asabri: Rp 1.441,8 billion to 503,560 pensioners (99.13%)
Local Government Civil Servants
As of 9 March 2026, THR for local government civil servants (ASN Daerah) totalled Rp 127.6 billion for 16,848 employees, processed by 3 regional administrations out of 546 (0.54%).
