Finance Ministry channels Rp256.8 trillion in regional transfers as of April
Jakarta — The Ministry of Finance disbursed regional transfer funds (TKD) totalling Rp256.8 trillion by 30 April 2026, equivalent to 37.1 percent of the State Budget ceiling (APBN) of Rp693 trillion. The realisation contracted by 1 percent compared with the same period last year amounting to Rp259.4 trillion.
‘We have channelled Rp256.8 trillion in TKD, or 37.1 percent of the APBN ceiling,’ Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said at the press conference for the APBN KiTa edition May 2026 in Jakarta on Tuesday.
TKD disbursement in April was primarily driven by the revenue-sharing funds (DBH), general allocation funds (DAU), non-physical Special Allocation Funds (DAK non-physical), and special autonomy (otsus). The additional allocations have been disbursed with the latest disbursement in April.
Specifically, Phase I disbursed 40 percent or Rp4.4 trillion with no conditional disbursement in February; Phase II 30 percent or Rp3.1 trillion with no conditional disbursement in March; Phase III 30 percent or Rp3.1 trillion with no conditional disbursement in April.
Relaxation of TKD disbursement and additional allocations boosted TKD realization for disaster-affected areas in Sumatra to Rp42.96 trillion or 48 percent of the ceiling. The Ministry of Finance said this realisation was higher than the national average.
For Aceh’s otsus addition, the Ministry noted that funds already disbursed were Phase I Rp30.39 billion (40 percent). Meanwhile, disbursement of the next two phases, each Rp22.79 billion, will be carried out in May for Phase II and June for Phase III.
Separately, central government spending was recorded at a growth of 51.1 percent to Rp826 trillion. Specifically, spending by ministries/agencies (K/L) grew by 57.9 percent or Rp400.5 trillion, while non-K/L spending grew by 45.2 percent to Rp425.5 trillion.
Thus, total state expenditure realised Rp1,082.8 trillion, a substantial increase of 34.3 percent, equal to 28.2 percent of the APBN target of Rp3,842.7 trillion.
