Finance Ministry: APBN-APBD synergy crucial for Bengkulu's economic stimulus

The Ministry of Finance, through the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb), has emphasised the importance of synergy between the state budget (APBN) and regional budget (APBD) as a stimulus for economic growth in Bengkulu. The Head of the DJPb Regional Office for Bengkulu, Mohamad Irfan Surya Wardhana, stated that the availability of funds from both central and regional governments must be promptly followed by the acceleration of activity implementation and billing processes. “This synergy is not only about the availability of the budget, but also about accelerating the execution of activities and the submission of bills. The state’s money is ready, so please execute the activities and submit your bills to us, then the economy will move,” Irfan said in Bengkulu City on Wednesday. He explained that a Public Consultation Forum (FKP) serves as a platform to explain the role of the DJPb in state financial management, while also acting as a space to gather input from stakeholders regarding the services provided. Irfan noted that the FKP aims to produce concrete feedback to improve services, including identifying areas that still require attention. He added that the involvement of various elements, including the media, plays a role in conveying information about state financial management policies to the public.
