Finance Minister to Hold Fifth Open Debottlenecking Session This Morning

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa will lead a debottlenecking session to resolve business obstacles on Friday 13 March 2026. This is the fifth open debottlenecking session to be held. The session will take place at Aula Juanda, Gedung Juanda 1, Ministry of Finance, Central Jakarta.

The session will commence at 09.00 WIB. However, no further information has been provided regarding which specific business obstacles will be addressed by Purbaya.

Previously, Purbaya convened a debottlenecking session concerning the national strategic project Onshore LNG Abadi Masela, attended by representatives of Inpex Masela Ltd. The Debottlenecking Working Group chaired by Purbaya serves as the official channel for business practitioners to present real obstacles encountered in the field.

The Debottlenecking Working Group was established to resolve investment barriers, whether from regulatory, fiscal, or licensing perspectives. Accordingly, at each session Purbaya will call relevant parties.

Agenda One: Issues raised by PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk, responses from government agencies (Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Defence), and decisions by the Finance Minister as session chair.

Agenda Two: Issues raised by PT Kairos Indah Sejahtera, responses from government agencies (Ministry of Industry, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ministry of Trade, and National Standardisation Agency), and decisions by the Finance Minister as session chair.

Agenda Three: Issues raised by PT Galang Bumi Industri, responses from government agencies (Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, Investment Coordinating Board, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, and Ministry of Finance), and decisions by the Finance Minister as session chair.
