Finance Minister Purbaya Gathers Ambassadors from 61 Countries at Ministry Office, What's the Reason?
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa invited ambassadors and embassy representatives from 61 countries in Indonesia to attend the International Seminar on Debottlenecking at the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday (12/5/2026).
From CNBC Indonesia’s observations, ambassadors from Yemen, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Switzerland, East Timor, and Cambodia were present. In addition, Purbaya invited various international organisations as well as ministries and agencies.
On this occasion, Purbaya introduced the Debottlenecking Task Force (Satgas P2SP), a government unit established through Presidential Decree No. 4 of 2026, to accelerate investment realisation and address business obstacles (regulations, permits, infrastructure) quickly and accountably to the ambassadors of friendly nations.
According to Purbaya, the government currently wants to accommodate various complaints related to business obstacles and to openly resolve those issues.
“That’s why we built the website (Satgas P2SP) so that you can submit complaints to us from anywhere, whether Swiss businesspeople or from any other country,” he said.
However, complaints submitted must be complete so that the Task Force can assist in resolving the issues. He promised that resolutions would be carried out quickly. As of May 2026, Purbaya, as the head of Satgas P2SP, has already held eight debottlenecking sessions involving various projects, including foreign investment projects.
